Our client has an immediate requirement for a Senior technical Business Analyst to support a Project Risk initiative, focused on scorecard enhancements within a custom application.

• This role is hands-on within an agile delivery team, working closely with developers and managing requirements directly in Azure DevOps.

6-month contract with possible extension.

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst
• 3+ years of experience working in agile delivery environments
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (user stories, backlog, sprint management)
• 3+ years of experience working directly with developers on custom applications, including backlog prioritization and sprint planning
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into clear, build-ready user stories and acceptance criteria
• Experience supporting UAT and validating enhancements

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to risk, scorecard, or analytics-related initiatives
• Basic business domain understanding with ability to interpret stakeholder needs

Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements, focusing on enhancements to existing application functionality
• Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria within Azure DevOps (system of record)
• Manage and prioritize backlog for 2-week sprints in collaboration with developers and delivery leads
• Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and support build and delivery
• Support UAT and ensure delivered enhancements meet business needs
