Senior BSA - Payments

Deliver structured business analysis and requirements for enterprise payment systems modernization within a leading financial institution.

Contract: Full-time, Toronto-based engagement.

• 10+ years Business Analysis experience in enterprise financial systems
• Payments domain expertise covering domestic and international transaction processes, specifically SWIFT
• Requirements gathering and documentation for system integration and workflow design
• Agile delivery experience across complex payment modernization projects using Jira

• Experience with ISO 20022 migration or related payment message standards
• Hands-on exposure to payment hubs, clearing networks, or settlement systems
• Familiarity with banking compliance and risk platforms
• Certification in CBAP or PMI-PBA

• Define and document business and functional requirements for payment system enhancements
• Map current and target payment workflows with clear traceability
• Coordinate with architecture and development teams on solution validation
• Lead requirements walkthroughs with stakeholders across technology and operations
• Support end-to-end testing, issue triage, and readiness activities
• Ensure alignment of payment processes with organizational standards and compliance

• Deep understanding of payment processing life cycle
• Strong system analysis and documentation proficiency
• Ability to interpret data flows and message formats across multiple platforms
• Solid experience collaborating with technical delivery teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years progressive BSA experience within large-scale financial operations
• Evidence of successful delivery in payments transformation initiatives
