Story Behind the Need

Business group: GTEP - Global Platform Engineering

Project: Intune Phase 3

Intune Phase 3 requires a dedicated Business Analyst contractor to support Conditional Access Enforcement focused on restricting access based on Windows device patching compliance. The role will work with Security, Compliance, EUC Engineering, and line-of-business stakeholders to validate requirements, coordinate pilot and rollout readiness, and operationalize the process for onboarding new compliance policy requests. This resource is needed to translate the enforcement objectives into an executable business process, documentation set, support model, and governance approach for Day 2 operations.

Typical Day in Role:

• Lead the enrollment and migration of users to Conditional Access Restriction based on Windows device patching version.

• Gather, validate, and document business and operational requirements with Security, Compliance, and line-of-business stakeholders.

• Support pilot planning, test coordination, readiness tracking, issue follow-up, and global rollout of blocking policies.

• Define and document the target operating model, support model, and transition requirements for Day 2 operations.

• Create and operationalize a process to add, update, and remove compliance policy management requests coming from Security and Compliance teams.

• Coordinate stakeholder onboarding, communications, exception handling, and readiness activities for impacted lines of business.

• Facilitate workshops, discussions, and documentation with English- and Spanish-speaking stakeholders.

• Produce business requirements, process flows, SOPs, runbooks, decision logs, status reports, and knowledge-transfer material.

• Track dependencies, risks, actions, and rollout issues across engineering, operations, network, and security teams.

• Support governance and change intake for future compliance enforcement requests to ensure repeatable and scalable delivery.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1. 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise technology, security, endpoint management, or identity/access initiatives.

2. Strong experience with stakeholder management, requirements gathering, process design, documentation, and rollout coordination.

3. Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and device compliance concepts.

4. Experience supporting pilot execution, production rollout, and operational handoff / Day 2 support readiness.

5. Strong written communication and documentation skills (SOPs, runbooks, governance artifacts).

6. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to work directly with English- and Spanish-speaking stakeholders.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

•Experience with endpoint compliance enforcement or Windows patching governance.

•Familiarity with network-dependent access controls.

•Experience with ServiceNow change / intake workflows.

•Experience producing rollout dashboards and executive-ready status reporting

Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma or equivalent
