Our client is seeking an Intermediate Scrum Master to guide a multidisciplinary team through a varied portfolio using MS Fabric data products, Power Platform automations, and AI/agentic solutions in a Azure DevOps environment (JD 2026-24)

As a Scrum Master within the Next Gen Delivery team, you will guide multidisciplinary pods working across data analytics, intelligent automation, and AI. You will leverage tools such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Fabric, and Power Platform to manage backlog health, sprint cadence, and delivery flow. Your work will support the efficient execution of strategic technology projects.

This role requires you to be onsite 3 days/week in downtown Calgary office

Must Haves

• 5+ years' experience working within Agile teams using Azure DevOps, with full delivery cycle ownership
• 3 years' experience as a Scrum Master leading ceremonies across data, automation, and AI initiatives
• Hands-on use of Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and AI/ML delivery environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Nice to Have

• Experience in regulated sectors such as energy, utilities, or financial services
• Certifications: CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master, or Kanban Management Professional
• Knowledge of CI/CD, release management, and DevOps delivery practices
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools such as Copilot or Claude for Scrum reporting automation

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure sprint cadence and timeboxing are maintained
• Coach teams and Product Owners on backlog prioritization and refinement
• Track and resolve delivery impediments; escalate cross-functional blockers when needed
• Manage dependencies and protect teams from scope creep and disruption
• Monitor velocity, capacity, and overall team health to surface delivery risks
• Maintain accurate boards, iterations, and dashboards in Azure DevOps
• Support release planning and value delivery reporting through consistent ADO governance
