Description
Our large, enterprise Oil and Gas industry client is seeking an Intermediate IAM Engineer to provide administration support for identity services in cloud (Azure, AWS) and enterprise environments. This role focuses on managing identity services, supporting authentication systems, and contributing to secure access.
Duration: Initial 6-month contract (possibility of extension)
Working Model: The successful candidate will be based in Calgary and aligned to working full-time onsite in Downtown Calgary. You will participate in a low-volume, 5-week on call rotation to support IAM-related incidents and requests. You will also provide your own laptop/device if successful.
Must-Haves:
- 4+ years of professional experience within Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Hands-on experience with:
- AWS Cognito
- AWS SNS
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)/ Active Directory
- Demonstrated experience with authentication, authorization, and identity federation concepts
- Experience working in AWS cloud environments
- Familiarity with security frameworks and IAM best practices
