We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support a Corporate Surveillance project.


Responsibilities:

  • 3-5+ years of professional development experience in a similar role.
  • Build and enhance backend services and APIs using Python/Pyspark
  • Design and manage relational databases using SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Implement Kafka-based messaging solutions to support high-performance, distributed applications and ensure reliable data streaming
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.

Required Skills:

  • Python, Pyspark, Spark experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Banking or Financial Services experience preferred
  • Experience with Scala is a plus
