Location: Hybrid


Role: They will lead and build high-performing technical project management teams with a focus on Agile & a growth mindset bringing together business and IT support functions, including development, QA, infrastructure, application support and incident management support, into one operating model and provide clearly defined roles and responsibilities.

Responsible for delivering large scale multi-year programs and in creating an Agile Center of Excellence by implementing agile standards, governance, processes, and effective change management practices.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead the implementation and continuous optimization of a consistent delivery methodology for hybrid and Agile POD-based initiatives across business and IT functions.
  • Manage the delivery and governance of large-scale, multi-year programs by developing delivery roadmaps, establishing objectives, and aligning with enterprise goals.
  • Create and present high-impact status messaging to stakeholders, including senior leaders and C-suite executives.
  • Provide oversight for multiple cross-functional teams; define clear roles and responsibilities to ensure accountability and execution excellence.
  • Develop standardized tools, KPIs, dashboards, and templates to drive data-driven decision-making and portfolio visibility.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Program Managers, Agile Coaches, and Directors, fostering a collaborative, growth-mindset culture.
  • Lead strategic planning, change management, and agile transformation initiatives through the establishment of an Agile Center of Excellence.

Must Haves:

  • 7+ years of experience in Project and Portfolio Management, including 3+ years in large-scale program delivery environments.
  • 4+ years in management/leadership roles with proven experience developing and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong Agile methodology knowledge, including hands-on experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Deep understanding of project/portfolio management tools and frameworks (e.g., Clarity, SharePoint, SDLC, PMLC).

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with the Guidewire Cloud platform (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimsCenter).
  • Prior technical background as a software developer or engineer.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience applying change management principles in a complex organizational environment.
