Overview

At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.

We seek a detail-focused product thinker, eager to turn user feedback into clear stories. You'll manage backlog, run sprints, and collaborate with PMs as your features launch.

This role combines product ownership and business analysis—translating feedback, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring everyone solves the right problems.

What you will do

  • Take initiative and drive clarity when things are ambiguous and raise flags early if priorities shift or blockers emerge
  • Groom the backlog; write epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and decision logs
  • Interview users and SMEs to validate pain points and define success criteria
  • Sync with Design & Engineering during demos and retros so everyone stays aligned
  • Maintain transparent progress updates through demos, retros, and other reporting
  • Lead sprint ceremonies and unblock developer questions fast
  • Package release notes; secure QA, security, and risk signoff
  • Monitor post-launch stability and feed learnings into the backlog

What you bring to the role

  • A university degree (or similar) in a related discipline or current enrolment in a recognized program / co-op placement
  • 1-3 yrs in product, business analysis, or tech consulting
  • Comfortable with agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps) and core SDLC
  • Clear communicator with a data-driven mindset
  • Initiative and an early risk-escalation habit
  • Please note we are open to co-op students with a 1 year work term
