We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading store fit-out deployments from concept to completion. They will play a pivotal role between internal teams and the client, ensuring clarity and control over timelines, budgets, and expectations.

This position reports to the Head of Project Management and plays a key role in operational success, strengthening client relationships and achieving results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. MANAGE THE PROJECT ROADMAP
    Manage project timelines from design to installation. Ensure alignment across all phases: estimation, design, purchasing, production, and logistics.
  2. BE THE CUSTOMER POINT OF CONTACT
    Assume a primary role with customers with proactive communication, clear updates and effective issue management.
  3. CROSS-DEPARTMENTAL COORDINATION
    Work closely with all internal departments to remove obstacles, anticipate risks and ensure smooth execution at all stages.
  4. DEFICIENCY AND ADJUSTMENT MANAGEMENT
    Identify, record, and resolve deficiencies quickly. Manage project changes in a rigorous and traceable manner.
  5. DELIVER ON TIME, ON COST, WITHOUT COMPROMISE
    Take responsibility for projects, delivered to quality standards, on time and on budget – every time.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOK LIKE

AFTER 3 MONTHS:
You have fully taken charge of ongoing projects and have developed strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. You have demonstrated your ability to manage complex timelines, identify risks early, and communicate clearly.

AFTER 12 MONTHS:
You have successfully delivered multiple development programs from A to Z. You have improved internal processes, optimized workflows, and become a trusted advisor to your clients. You have helped structure internal procedures and raised the level of project excellence at IVC.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in manufacturing, commercial furniture, or construction
  • Degree in management, operations or related field
  • Experience in managing national deployments (a major asset)
  • Knowledge of production schedules, supply chain coordination and installation logistics
  • English/French bilingualism (preferred)
  • Proficiency in project monitoring tools (ERP, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Available for travel (site visits, installations, client meetings)

Compétences recherchées

  • 5 ans+ d’expérience en gestion de projets, idéalement en fabrication, ameublement commercial ou construction
  • Diplôme en gestion, opérations ou domaine connexe
  • Expérience dans la gestion de déploiements nationaux (un atout majeur)
  • Connaissance des échéanciers de production, coordination de la chaîne d’approvisionnement et logistique d’installation
  • Bilinguisme anglais/français (préféré)
  • Maîtrise des outils de suivi de projet (ERP, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Disponible pour des déplacements (visites de site, installations, rencontres clients)
