We are currently seeking a CNC Woodworking Operator to join our growing organization.

The CNC operator produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerically controlled (CNC) router table. They maintain quality and safety standards, keep records, and ensure the maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Operate and configure all CNC machines
• Read and interpret technical drawings (CAD)
• Prepare the required tools, fasteners and supports
• Use software to adjust, control and modify programs
• Carry out checks and report non-conformities to your supervisor
• Optimize the use of machine time
• Prepare and verify the proper functioning of programs and work orders
• Provide technical support to equipment operators
• Participate in solving problems related to the manufacturing of parts
• Review and ensure that all equipment and tools are maintained in accordance with procedures
• Keep the workstation clean and free of non-essential items

Profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience using a CNC; Biesse an asset
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a carpentry workshop and using standard tools of the trade
• Great organizational skills
• Mastery of the installation of assemblies, tools, vices and clamps
• Operates machines running complex and high-tolerance components
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Passionate about prototyping and machining
• Strong work ethic and motivation
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of SolidWorks or AutoCad an asset
