At the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), we count on the expertise and dedication of our skilled inter-professional teams to meet the health care needs of clients with a wide range of diagnoses, and their families. We aim to enhance this care at our new McCain Complex Care Building located at CAMH’s Queen Street Site, the home of our new Women’s General Forensic Unit of the Complex Care and Recovery Program. This new building will offer spacious units; safe access to outdoor space and a variety of features designed improve patient care and enhanced safety features.

The Complex Care and Recovery Program is currently seeking a part-time, temporary (until January 2027) Registered Nurse to work in the Women’s General Forensic Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will:

This position requires day, evening, night and weekend rotations. This position is located at the Queen Street Site.

A registered member, in good standing, with the College of Nurses of Ontario, you bring comprehensive knowledge of emergency psychiatry, crisis intervention, severe and persistent mental illness, addiction issues, recovery-oriented approaches, culturally competent care, trauma-informed care, and group facilitation. You also have a demonstrated ability to make behavioural observations, conduct physical and mental status assessments, and monitor a client’s response to pharmaceutical and care interventions.
