CAMH Education is currently seeking a full-time, contract CH&E Coordinator (Evaluation Specialist) reporting to the Manager, Education Evaluation & Quality Improvement. The Evaluation Specialist will work independently and with a small team to lead and conduct different types of evaluations (needs assessment, process and outcome) for internal and external stakeholders such as other organizations and institutions. You will also work collaboratively to provide coordination and assist in the development and implementation of multiple education evaluation projects, including projects related to Thriving Minds, Centre of Excellence’s Education Programs and Integrated Youth Services.

You will have a proven track record in program evaluation within the health sciences. You will coordinate, co-lead and support multiple projects simultaneously and can work independently as well as with a diverse team. The Evaluation Specialist will play a key role in the implementation and evaluation of various Education initiatives and projects.

The successful candidate will have a Masters degree in a relevant field with three years of evaluation experience in the field of mental health or health services. Familiarity with online survey applications, including RedCap and developing qualitative and quantitative evaluation tools is required. Experience developing, managing and integrating databases and conducting evaluations at a program level is essential. Familiarity with mental health and addiction services research or evaluation is required, as is experience working with Implementation Science frameworks or Quality Improvement models. The successful candidate will have demonstrated project coordination and program evaluation experience and the ability to ensure all deadlines are met. Full fluency with at least one statistical package from among SPSS, R or Python is also required and experience with qualitative software (e.g., NVIVO). The successful candidate will possess strong PC software skills including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel), Internet Search engines, and the ability to learn new programs quickly. Strong interpersonal, communication (oral/written), creative problem-solving abilities and organizational skills are required. Candidates will possess the ability for self-directed learning/working, as well as collaboration and teamwork and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Candidates also require the ability to work effectively in a wide-range of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds and positions, including leadership. Bilingualism (French/English) and experience working with diverse populations would be an asset.
