THE ROLE

Under the Director of the Chief Corporate Secretariat, you will plan, develop, direct, communicate and implement objectives and strategies for Non-Public Property (NPP) Real Property (RP) and infrastructure programs, operations and services delivery by identifying opportunities for acquisition and growth. You will also research, plan, develop and direct a program for infrastructure opportunities identified within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) that can be manages and delivered by the Organization in support of the military community, and provide recommendations to senior management. You will liaise with senior management across divisions to develop and implement an infrastructure management framework, policies, procedures, and plans governing CAF infrastructure development partnerships, programs and services for the military community by the Organization.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance or a related field AND several years of managerial experience in corporate administration or a related field

Experience

In developing, planning, and implementing corporate strategies and policies

In developing strategic training initiatives with stakeholders

In planning, managing, evaluating and promoting change management frameworks

In providing advice and guidance

In business and strategic planning

In developing partnerships

In developing, interpreting, implementing and/or applying procedures and relevant regulations/legislation

In planning and conducting presentations

In managing projects

In budget administration

In personnel administration

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English or French Essential, Bilingual (English and French) an asset

Reading: Advanced

Writing: Functional

Oral: Advanced

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
