Senior Manager – Utilities Advisory

The energy transition is the defining infrastructure challenge of our generation. Utilities are being asked to build more - faster - than they have in decades: new generation, grid modernization, storage, and transmission at a scale that existing operating models simply weren't designed to handle. This role is about changing that.

As a Senior Manager in Accenture's Utilities practice, you'll work directly with utility clients to rethink how they plan, govern, and deliver capital programs - going beyond project management into the harder work of transforming the target operating models that determine whether a utility can actually execute on its capital agenda.

What you'll be doing:

You'll lead complex program and project engagements end-to-end, owning delivery outcomes across scope definition, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and executive communication. You'll be the person who can translate a messy operational reality into a clear path forward - and then drive it.

You'll challenge clients' current ways of working, bring in leading practices, and help them build the internal muscle to sustain change. You'll also help them get more out of the technology that supports their capital teams - project controls platforms, scheduling tools, PMIS environments - assessing whether their tooling is actually set up to help people deliver.

A critical part of this role is working at the intersection of the utility and its engineering and construction partners. Major capital programs live or die in those interfaces. You'll help clients build the structures, accountability, and working relationships that make owner-engineer-contractor partnerships function through complex delivery.

Job Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in capital project delivery or transformation within utilities, energy, or heavy infrastructure
• Strong understanding of common challenges that arise when organizations scale major programs
• Ability to develop and own a clear point of view and influence decisions at senior levels
• Working knowledge of the capital project technology landscape
• Experience with owner-engineer-contractor dynamics, procurement operating models, or enterprise project office design is a plus8+ years of experience in capital project delivery or transformation within utilities, energy, or heavy infrastructure
