You Are:
You are a seasoned business development leader with a proven ability to drive enterprise growth in complex, matrixed organizations. You excel at navigating internal and client stakeholders, converting opportunities into revenue, and building strong relationships.
You bring a track record of success in selling marketing transformation, martech, data activation, or AI-enabled marketing solutions. You are adept at engaging CMOs and senior growth leaders with compelling narratives grounded in measurable business outcomes.
You combine strategic thinking with disciplined execution, shaping differentiated stories and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver results. You thrive in ambiguity, demonstrating resilience and commercial acumen while building innovative solutions that drive impact.

The Work:
As a Go-To-Market Business Development Lead, you will:
- Collaborate with clients, Accenture Account Leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and advance new business opportunities for Accenture Song’s Advertising and Marketing services in Canada.
- Drive initial client engagements with a provocative, differentiated point of view that positions Song as a partner for marketing transformation powered by data, martech, and AI.
- Oversee the deal lifecycle from initial positioning through qualification and close, crafting opportunities that result in marketing activation or transformation engagements.
- Develop and refine compelling go-to-market strategies for Advertising and Marketing services, ensuring alignment with client needs and market trends.
- Present findings and recommendations at the executive level, delivering impactful sales documents, proposals, and pitches to progress opportunities.
- Align delivery teams to articulate scope and commercial intent, positioning Song’s marketing, data, and AI capabilities as integrated growth drivers.
- Drive growth by elevating a differentiated Advertising and Marketing offering within Accenture and the Canadian market.
- Build internal coalitions across Song, Technology, and Strategy to integrate offerings into account planning discussions.
- Develop multi-channel revenue growth strategies rooted in marketing transformation and measurable business outcomes.
- Support the creation of business cases grounded in data and commercial impact.
- Ensure Marketing and Agency capabilities are clearly positioned and fully leveraged in client opportunities.
- Engage senior marketing executives, including CMOs and growth leaders, with a clear and credible point of view.
- Demonstrate fluency in data, martech ecosystems, and AI-driven personalization and activation.

- Achieving revenue objectives through clear projections and account alignment.
- Driving market adoption of the go-to-market narrative.
- Qualifying and advancing new leads, with measurable success in closing a percentage of qualified opportunities.
- Elevating Song’s positioning within Canadian marketing transformation discussions.
- Meeting Year 1 revenue targets and delivering tangible business outcomes.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 10+ years of proven success in selling marketing transformation, martech strategy, data activation, or AI-enabled marketing solutions.
- 5+ years in agency, consulting, or complex enterprise solution sales, with a strong hunter discipline and strategic mindset.
- Proven ability to shape compelling narratives and translate them into commercial opportunities.
- Experience navigating matrixed organizations and building internal consensus.
- Exceptional presentation and communication abilities, with the capability to engage and influence VP and C-suite executives.
- 5+ years of expertise in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
- English fluency is required for regular interaction with stakeholders across Canada, the US, and Accenture’s global footprint.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.
It does not represent a maximum limit - in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.

British Columbia/Ontario $131,700 to $278,100
