You are: Accenture is seeking an experienced Cloud Migration Consultant to guide clients through complex migrations of ERP systems-including Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), SAP, and other legacy platforms-to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will play a strategic advisory role, collaborating closely with clients to ensure successful transitions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Migration & Program Leadership
• Lead end-to-end cloud migrations from Oracle EBS, SAP, or other ERP systems to Oracle Cloud Infrast
• Design and implement migration strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert insights on technology decisions, risks, and migration frameworks.
Project & Portfolio Management
• Direct complex projects, ensuring seamless execution across multiple teams and technologies.
• Manage program scope, budgets, timelines, risks, governance structures, and resource allocation.
• Facilitate integration across diverse client ERP landscapes and Oracle Cloud solutions.
Stakeholder & Change Management
• Engage senior executives, IT leaders, and stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and clarity of vision
• Lead change management initiatives, driving adoption of new cloud-based solutions across organizations.
• Foster collaborative relationships, overcoming organizational resistance to technological change.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
• Implement best practices and standards for ERP cloud migrations, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and compliance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using automation, analytics, and cloud-based collaboration tools
• Enable client teams to optimize operational efficiency post-migration.
Qualifications & Experience
Basic Qualification
• 10+ years overall experience including 2+ years’ experience leading large-scale migrations from ERP platforms (Oracle EBS, SAP, or similar) to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong skills in program leadership, portfolio management, and delivering complex technology transformations.
• Demonstrated ability to advise and collaborate effectively within a consulting context, working closely with client stakeholders.
• Expertise in managing project risks, interdependencies, budgets, and governance across enterprise-level migrations.
• Proven track record of successfully guiding organizations through major IT transformation and change initiatives.
English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Deep knowledge of Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) best practices for cloud program delivery. • Experience leveraging digital tools and collaboration platforms for effective program communication and management.
