Why is this role important :

Overall function of this position is to develop the customer base of the Real Canadian Wholesale Club stores. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business into the Wholesale Clubs in their territory, while maintaining profitable sales in our stores with the immediate goal of turning trial into solid repeat, loyal customers. The impact of the position is to ensure long term healthy growth of the Wholesale Club customer base.

What you'll do:

• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales.

• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.

• To implement focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in food service, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To implement the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.

• Building and leading diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging

What you bring:

• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

• Bilingual in English and French considered an asset.

• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

• Food Service experience is desirable.

• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.

• Travel within the assigned region.

Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting - Salesforce.com

Pourquoi ce rôle est-il important :

La fonction globale de ce poste est de développer la clientèle des magasins Club Entrepot. Le but du représentant du développement commercial est de générer de nouvelles affaires dans les clubs de vente en gros de leur territoire, tout en maintenant des ventes rentables dans nos magasins dans le but immédiat de transformer les essais en clients fidèles et fidèles. L'impact de ce poste est d'assurer une croissance saine à long terme de la clientèle Club Entrepot.

Ce que vous ferez :

• Initier, suivre et négocier des opportunités avec des clients potentiels dans le but de les « signer » en tant que nouvelle entreprise. Ceci est mesuré par les ventes des clients en magasin.

• Développer la clientèle en cultivant des pistes et des opportunités et être capable de les convertir en clients réguliers.

• Être responsable via un report quotidien des visites de vente en temps réel, mesuré par rapport à la croissance du territoire (ventes hors tabac) par rapport à l'année précédente.

• Implanter une vente ciblée sur un vaste territoire ciblant l'industrie de la restauration, maintenance faisant appel à un volume élevé de clients CLÉS de la restauration, des dépanneurs, des petites entreprises, des clubs et des organismes.

• Mettre en œuvre les programmes promotionnels et marketing de la division en conjonction avec le plan d'affaires global. Responsabilité via l'activité d'achat des clients pendant la période mesurée par les ventes en magasin.

• Gérer tous les aspects des demandes des clients menant à des visites régulières en magasin, y compris les visites initiales du magasin.

• Développer des relations clients avec une clientèle de niveau or et des organisations industrielles.

• Développer une connaissance approfondie des produits dans diverses catégories et être capable de stimuler les ventes en atteignant les objectifs de vente et de profit.

• Construire et diriger des équipes diversifiées qui favorisent un lieu de travail inclusif et d'appartenance.

Ce que vous apportez :

• Expérience avérée dans l'atteinte d'objectifs de vente agressifs.

• Bilingue en anglais et en français considéré comme un atout.

• Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en vente.

• Une expérience en restauration est souhaitable.

• Compétences supérieures en communication, en relations interpersonnelles et en établissement de relations.

• Déplacement dans la région assignée.
