The successful candidates will possess strong Catholic Christian leadership skills, be well versed in authentic learning strategies as well as an understanding of inclusive, learner-centered environments. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of English language learners and be able to help develop and support comprehensive literacy and numeracy approaches within school communities. Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in team will be strong assets in this position.

Successful candidate for administrative positions within RDCRS will:

a strong faith leader with an understanding of the Catholic mission of our schools and the evangelization and catechetical responsibilities inherent in our role as Catholic educators

an educational leader who understands and shows evidence of the implementation of effective instructional leadership in the areas of literacy, inclusion, faith and technology able to lead and guide educators while providing innovation, vision and leadership within learner-centered environments

research-driven and action-orientated

energetic and approachable who understands the importance of building relationships and is an open, two-way communicator and team builder

dedicated to excellence through high expectations of self and others

consultative yet decisive

multi-tasking, stress management and problem-solving

professional oral and written communication

Candidates must be a practicing Catholic with a current pastoral reference listed. Preference will be given to applicants with school administration experience, LQS Certification, a Master’s degree, and can demonstrate the knowledge, skill set and ability to effectively lead a school community. Willingness to relocate to the community would be an asset.
