We are seeking applicants, for a uniquely qualified to join our team of dedicated educators under a full-time probationary contract. This teaching assignment is dynamic and therefore having experience as an athletic director with superior organizational planning and communication skills would be considered an asset.

Job Duties:

identify students’ individual and collective learning needs

plan and deliver instruction based on student learning needs and special needs;

provide a stimulating learning environment in which each student can experience growth and develop to their potential;

help students learn appropriate knowledge, skills;

meet with parents;

evaluate and communicate student progress;

prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help;

meet with other professionals to discuss individual student needs and progress;

volunteer to supervise extracurricular and after-school activities; and

attend meetings, seminars and in-service training sessions.

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor of Education

pre-service teacher preparation program from an approved institution

Valid Alberta Teaching Certification
