Position: Kindergarten Co-Teacher / Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher

(Note: The successful applicant will co-teach kindergarten for 2 periods a day with the balance of their work day in a Grade 1 class).

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate

2. Experience and/or training in the advertised position

3. Satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Child Abuse Registry Check

4. Ability to relate to the school community and community value base.

Plum Coulee School i s a K-8 school with an enrolment of 200 students and approximately 30 combined professional/support staff. Along with a comprehensive intramural program, Plum Coulee School offers a broad range of extra-curricular options that include such things as soccer, volleyball, basketball, dramas, as well as many others. The school is an integral part of the beautiful town of Plum Coulee, located just 13 kms east of Winkler on Hwy 14. Salary and Benefits:

The compensation package for this position is in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Garden Valley School Division and the Garden Valley Teachers’ Association.
