Our retail client is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to design and deliver technical solutions for business systems, data, and systems integrations

Permanent, can be remote (preference to Winnipeg or Vancouver hybrid)

Must Have:

• 5+ years experience as a Solution Architect or similar role in enterprise-level applications, systems configuration, customization, and integration.
• Experience on and multi-platform, multi-vendor complex integration projects, preferably on some or all of the following technologies: POS systems (Oracle Xstore), ERP systems (SAP), eCommerce (Salesforce Commerce Cloud), CRM (Salesforce)
• Strong understanding of data architecture, integration, migration, and governance.
• Experience with payment processors integration

Nice to Have

• Previous Retail experience
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS).

Responsibilities:

• Work with the National Digital & Data Services team to expand the business’ use of data as a strategic enabler of corporate goals. Provide an optimally integrated applications architecture that cost-effectively enables business objectives. Plan, coordinate, architect, and execute all activities related to the integration and delivery of software programs, applications, and 3rd party solutions that enable business goals. Design, develop, and implement data models for enterprise-level applications and systems.
• Provide technical solution design and guidance for business systems, data, and systems integrations. Understanding the current state IT environment and designing the future state. Lead the delivery of IT solutions by collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design technical solutions that align with the organization's technology strategy.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, modules, customizations, and integrations that address project goals and constraints while ensuring security compliance.
• Assess the current technical architecture and recommend future states that align with enterprise capabilities roadmap.
• Prepare and present technical documentation such as solution specifications and architecture diagrams.
• Ensure end-to-end solution consistency, quality, and security.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.
