We are actively seeking a Finishing Foreman to supervise sandblasting and painting finishing work on vessels. He will also be responsible for following up the quotes and ensuring the quality of the work carried out.

YOUR TALENTS WILL BE USED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGES:

  • Plan the execution of sandblasting and painting work according to quote specifications;
  • Supervise, coordinate, and plan the work of the employees under his supervision;
  • Monitor quality during work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications;
  • Establish methods for meeting deadlines and coordinate activities with other departments;
  • Solve work-related problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and ensure quality;
  • Meet with clients to discuss quote specifications;
  • Plan and prepare orders for materials and supplies based on future needs;
  • Lead weekly meetings to discuss progress and strategies;
  • Participate and support the activities of the Health, Safety, and Environment Management System.

Requested skills

OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE HAS:

  • Diploma of vocational studies or a College degree;
  • One (1) or five (5) years of experience in this or similar role;
  • Use of Microsoft 365 and Office Suite: Word and Excel (advanced), PowerPoint (intermediate);
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at height;
  • Good work organization and sense of priorities;
  • Ability to find innovative solutions;
  • Autonomy;
  • Languages: advanced level in French and English, spoken and written.
