Minegoziibe Anishinabe School is a modern educational facility offering programming from Nursery to Grade 12. The school has bright well-equipped classrooms as well as Science Labs, Computer Labs, a large Gymnasium and Library, Home Economics and Industrial Arts rooms, Resource rooms and a spacious multi-purpose room. The school is located in Pine Creek First Nation, Manitoba on the scenic east shore of Lake Winnipegosis, approximately 120 km north of the city of Dauphin, and 90 km southeast of Swan River, all on paved highways.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education Degree, Diploma in Industrial Arts/Technology Teacher Education
Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
Previous Industrial Arts teaching/industry experience preferred
A sound knowledge of provincial Industrial Arts and Senior Years curricula
Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life
Strong classroom management skills
Experience working in a northern community
A willingness to inquire into best practices and reflect on practices
A team player committed to the belief that all students can learn
Self-motivated
