Description
Our valued public sector client is in need of a Senior Reliability cleared COBOL Systems Analyst (10+ years) to support an enterprise IT transformation initiative.
The Information Technology Branch Individual Suite of Systems project is focusing on governing tax systems. This includes transforming various IT systems, creating new applications/programs and enhancing existing systems and databases.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain interfaces between new and existing systems;
- Assisting in the analysis of requirements, processes and data towards developing and implementing solutions which address business and technical needs;
- Attending meetings and briefings related to the ongoing project to articulate the proposed design or changes in a manner that makes sense to staff or to reach an understanding and/or solution to related problems and issues;
- Document unit, regression, integration, end to end, and performance testing as required.
Must Have:
- 10+ years as a systems analyst
- 4+ years experience with SDLC methodology
- 4+ years experience working on IBM Mainframe systems
- 10+ years experience with COBOL/CICS development
- Reliability clearance
Nice to Have:
- Experience with TSO, JCL, MQ Series, SQL, Expediter, Strobe, Workbench and SDFII
