Interior Health is seeking a patient focused; team oriented Registered Nurse to join our medical and surgical teams at the Royal Inland Hospital in beautiful Kamloops, B.C.

Effective April 1, 2024, the hourly wage will be $41.42 to $55.91.

About the Job:

The Registered Nurse:
• Practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care
• Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Ensures the delivery of client-centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs
• Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities

Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights; rotating from 07:30 to 19:30, 19:30 to 07:30 hours.

About this location/unit:

RIH is a tertiary referral hospital, we treat 75,000 patient per year and our nursing staff work 12 hour shifts. We see a broad spectrum of patients in age and acuity. Due to our geographical location and outdoor activities we see a large amount of trauma. We have a High Acuity Response Team at RIH that works directly with the BC Ambulance Services to transport patients from lower acuity sites to our hospital.

Qualfications
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
