Your main responsibilities:

Under the responsibility of the Director, the project manager (M/F) liaises between the various internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent must maintain constant communication on the progress of projects, both in terms of supply, preparation and the schedule / schedule of work. He acts as a liaison between the client, operations and suppliers.

  • Plan and prepare the work for the realization of the project;
  • Review the necessary supplies and adjust the deadlines according to the deadlines provided upon receipt of the goods;
  • Ensure compliance with production and receipt of goods deadlines;
  • Follow up on the site: materials, hours spent, drawings, returns, additional work, etc. ;
  • Analyze the monthly costs of the projects as well as the costs related to the progress of the work;
  • Propose installation and improvement strategies;
  • Produce and update various project reports;
  • Estimate the costs and details necessary to fulfill the client's requests;
  • Attend site, coordination, project and health and safety meetings with the client;
  • Assist the team for the technical aspect;
  • Ensure the issuance of working methods when required;
  • Contribute to the application of laws and regulations related to occupational health and safety;
  • Obtain the statement of quantities, reconcile quantities and amounts with the customer to prepare invoicing
  • Draft the correspondence required for the administration of contracts;
  • Participate with the Director in the evaluation and training of the staff of the Unit;
  • Perform other related duties.

Qualifications required:

  • DEC or BACC training in the field of civil engineering or building mechanics or related field.
  • The absence of a diploma may be compensated by an experience of 2 to 3 years in a comparable field.
  • Experience in comparable functions and/or in project management would be an asset.
  • Estimating experience would be an asset.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software including Excel and Outlook.
