- Design products and prepare technical drawings for production
- update the drawings for production and assembly and make corrections as needed.
- Provide technical support to the employees of the factory
- Understandand the validate preliminary drawings from the client in collaboration with the sales department in order to be able to produce the required technical drawings in detail to optimize the production within acceptable time limits
- provide support for the purchasing department during discussions with the suppliers.
- Design of parts and mechanical assemblies.
- Propose new approaches (mounting, manufacturing etc...)
- Identify the potential problems of the design and for manufacturing and propose solutions.

Requested skills

- DEC or a technician Diploma in mechanical engineering prefered or any other relevant experience or training.
- Minimum of 3 three years of experience in design and mechanical design in the metal sheet domain.
- Compulsory: Holds a relevant experience in the sheet metal industry
- Knowledge of the Machining (punching, folding, welding)
- Essential Knowledge of 3D modeling software (Solid works), including a good three-dimensional vision
- good mastery of Microsoft Office software
- Bilingualism (French, English) both oral and written.
- Demonstrate leadership and autonomy.
- Very good communication skills with a developed sense of team work.
- Demonstrate organizational skills and have good time management capabilities.
- Be ready to put the efforts required to ensure that the work is done within the prescribed time limits.
- Good sense of planning, organized and well deveoped analytical skills.
- Has initiative & good attention to detail
