Also, our accounting technician will be in charge of Arvika's sister company, Steel Space.

Arvika/Steel Space is currently looking for an efficient accounting technician who is willing to learn. We are looking for someone who is passionate about our product and the event and marketing industry.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountant technician
Maintain the accounting records as well as the costs and budgets associated with the various projects of our two companies;
Assist our controller in the production of monthly financial reports and the production of year-end files;
Prepare cash flows for both companies periodically;
Perform all tasks related to accounts payable and receivable including monitoring banking transactions for project managers;
Prepare and make bank deposits; and DRD files;
Perform monthly bank reconciliations;
Respond to ad hoc requests from project managers;
Perform payroll for +/- 35 employees;
Manage group insurance for +/- 35 employees;
Make the remittances of DAS, production of T4 tax slips and RL-1 slips, their summary and the salary declaration;
Manage CNESST files;
Prepare and perform the necessary follow-ups on employee expense accounts and corporate Visa cards;
Ensure the filing of all documents required for the performance of these functions;
