Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Business Intelligence to join our team and drive strategic decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Planning and Analytics, you will lead a small team of Analysts enable data-driven decision making across the organization (Sales, Marketing and Customer Operations teams) with your leadership in Business Intelligence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence and data analytics including technical skills in SQL, Tableau or PowerBI, etc., and a proven track record of delivering business value through data-driven insights.
• Manage a team of analysts, provide guidance and day to day coaching to drive performance and professional growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify analytical needs, prioritize and deliver reporting and dashboards that add business value
• Drive continuous improvement in data quality and accuracy across all processes and reports
• Augment BI capabilities, develop automated self-serve dashboards and accelerate data-driven decision making across teams
• Stay on top of current and emerging trends in Business Intelligence and Analytics, assess their relevance to and impact on the organization and implement changes as needed
• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field with 2-3 years in a people leadership role
• Proven experience in developing and implementing BI solutions
• Prior experience in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI or other). Any experience in Python, R considered an asset
• Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder requests and balance speed with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
• Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a keen eye for detail.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
