We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Manager of Corporate Communications to lead our internal and external communications efforts. This role is critical in shaping the voice of our brand, fostering employee engagement, and managing our public image across media channels.

The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with strong experience in corporate communications, media relations, and storytelling within the telecommunications or technology sector. Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing Enablement, this role will operate as a key partner in delivering communications strategies and initiatives, with guidance and collaboration across all major activities. The Manager will also play an important role in supporting executive communications, including leadership events and the development of high-impact presentations.

Location: Markham, ON (Hybrid - 3days in office)


Key responsibilities include:

External Communications

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance brand reputation and visibility
  • Manage media relations, including press releases, media outreach, and interview coordination
  • Serve as a company spokesperson when appropriate and prepare executives for media engagements
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment across campaigns, social media, and advertising

Internal Communications

  • Design and implement internal communication strategies and tactics, that support company culture, leadership messaging, and organizational priorities
  • Partner with executive leadership to communicate key initiatives, changes, and milestones
  • Ensure consistent messaging, tone, and brand voice across all internal platforms

Corporate Events & Executive Engagement

  • Plan and execute corporate leadership events (1–2 annually), including offsites, strategy sessions, and executive meetings
  • Develop event messaging, agendas, and supporting communication materials
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Prepare executive briefing materials and run-of-show documentation
  • Evaluate event effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement

Executive Presentations & Content Development

  • Refine and maintain executive-level PowerPoint presentations and leadership materials
  • Translate complex business concepts and data into clear, compelling, and visually engaging slides
  • Ensure presentations are aligned with corporate messaging and brand standards
  • Support leadership with storytelling and messaging for key presentations and forums

Strategic Leadership

  • Monitor and analyze communication effectiveness and continuously improve strategies based on insights
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, industry partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in communications and public relations
     

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications or PR, preferably within telecommunications or a related industry
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience managing media relations and internal communications programs
  • Advanced PowerPoint and presentation development skills
  • Experience planning and executing corporate or leadership events is an asset
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
