We are currently looking for a painter to fill a permanent full-time position on the evening shift, Monday to Thursday.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT WHEN JOINING THE TEAM

Under the supervision of the Fabrication Foreman, paint metal parts before their assembly and after the surface has been adequately prepared to be painted. Touch up paint as necessary.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verify the specifications of the work order before painting, (color of the part, brand and type of paint)
  • Use the forklift or crane to transport parts to be painted and return them to the drying area
  • Polish, as necessary, in order to smooth surfaces
  • Clean surfaces to be painted with solvent
  • Apply paint with a hand pistol on metal parts of different sizes
  • Touch up pain with brush as necessary

Requested skills

  • Experience with spray painting (an asset)
  • Experience with forklift and overhead crane (an asset)
