Wild Rose School Division requires A FULL TIME HIGH SCHOOL SOCIAL STUDIES AND OPTIONS TEACHER For Drayton Valley Community Outreach School in Drayton Valley, Alberta Applications are invited for a Temporary Full Time Teacher. Drayton Valley Community Outreach School is looking for a full time Social Studies and Options Teacher. Option subjects may include Foods, Art or CALM. Training and or experience in the above noted subject and grade level is considered an asset. Start date will be August 27, 2024 and is expected to continue for the full year. Drayton Valley Community Outreach School provides support to Grade 10 to 12 WRSD students in Drayton Valley and the surrounding community who demonstrate resilience to achieve academic success. These are students for whom learning has been compromised because of difficulties attending usual school classes on a regular basis. A flexible learning environment provided is designed to work with the student's current situation. Our teachers, administration, and support staff work at creating personalized programs that will help students be successful in school and more importantly, life! A complete package will include cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single Google or pdf document. The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector as a condition of employment.
