Wild Rose School Division requires A FULL TIME GRADE 9-12 ENGLISH TEACHER For Frank Maddock High School in Drayton Valley, Alberta
We are seeking a dedicated and engaged educator who is committed to working collaboratively at Frank Maddock High School ensuring a Powerful Learning Environment to improve the life chances of all students. At FMHS, we emphasize wellness, connections, and a flourishing school culture. Utilizing PLCs and a Collaborative Response mindset, we ensure personalized learning opportunities for all of our students. We are searching for "A Warrior" who "Rises Above All Others." The majority of this position will include various English courses, grades 9-12. Additional instructional time may include other humanities courses, Drama, French, Options 9, etc (this additional time will be developed based on the experiences of the selected applicant).
Duties will commence with the 2025/2026 school year on August 25, 2025.
Frank Maddock High School is a grade 9-12 school of approximately 475 students located in Drayton Valley, Alberta, 120 km, southwest of Edmonton. Our school's mission is to support every student on their personal path of self-discovery in preparation for their successful future beyond high school. The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector as a condition of employment.
