Whistler Waldorf School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Social Studies Teacher for the Junior and Senior High programs (Grades 7-10). One permanent, full-time (1.0 FTE) position is available, with teaching assignments across Grades 7-10, depending on candidate strengths and program needs. The starting salary range is $59,000-$86,000 per year, commensurate with experience, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

The preferred candidate will have:

  • Certification and Education: Valid BC teaching certification or eligibility to apply, with a Bachelor of Education or equivalent recognized qualification. International credentials may be eligible for equivalency.
  • Teaching Experience: Relevant teaching experience preferred; early-career and newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
  • Work Authorization: Legal eligibility to work in Canada or ability to obtain appropriate authorization.
  • Professional Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build positive professional relationships.
