Specialty Positions - Elementary Occasional Teacher Roster

Only candidates with the qualifications noted below will be considered.

The Waterloo Region District School Board is seeking applications from Teachers in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) who hold the following qualifications as noted on your OCT certificate for our Elementary Occasional Teacher Roster (JK-8):

  • French as a Second Language - Part 1, 2 and/or Specialist qualification

  • Teaching Students Who Are Blind/Low Vision - Part 1, 2 and/or Specialist qualification

  • Teaching Students Who are Deaf/Blind - Part 1, 2 and/or Specialist qualification

  • Teaching Students Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing qualification

If you are an existing WRDSB Elementary Occasional Teacher with qualifications identified above, you DO NOT need to apply to this posting. Current WRDSB Secondary Occasional Teachers with these qualifications wishing to transfer to the Elementary Occasional Teacher Roster may apply, however if successful you will be removed from the WRDSB Secondary Occasional Teacher Roster.
