Description

JOB SUMMARY:
The incumbent is responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in nuclear medicine, bone densitometry, quality assurance and radiation protection in accordance with standards of practice. They perform all other related duties according to departmental needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered with the New Brunswick Regulatory College of Medical Radiation Technologists;
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate;
- Successful completion of certification programs for functions specific to the unit, within set timeframe;
- Good judgement and communication;
- Proven ability to organize and manage assigned workload;
- Ability to work independently and as a team member;
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
