Medical Transcriptionist (1018)

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent provides medical transcription services for physicians and other health care professionals.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma plus an additional medical transcription program or course of over one year and up to two years in length, or equivalent;
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and of other software programs currently used within the Network;
• Ability to transcribe medical dictations at medium speed in French and English with accuracy and a minimum of errors;

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
• Good work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network’s management philosophy, and organizational values;
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
