Description

JOB SUMMARY:
The incumbent is responsible for providing admission services to the facility, reception services, service registration, and appointment scheduling. They will also perform any other related tasks as required by the department.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma plus an additional administrative support program or course from six months to one year in length, or equivalent;
- Medical terminology training or completion of this training within set deadlines (training available in iTacit);
- Knowledge of software commonly used within the Network;
- Calm personality and ability to foster good public and interpersonal relationships;
- Ability to work in a changing work environment;
- Ability to work independently and as a team member;
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
NOTE:
- The incumbent will be required to work at St. Joseph Community Health Center.
- The above requirements may be verified through oral, written or practical tests during the selection process.
