Come work as an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

The Vancouver Acute (VA) Department of Orthopaedics at VGH & UBC Hospitals is looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon with Trauma Fellowship training and ability to perform complex acute orthopedic repair and reconstruction procedures and post traumatic reconstructions of upper and lower extremity injuries to occupy a full time temporary clinical position as part of a group of 6 Orthopedic Trauma surgeons. The successful applicant will also meet academic deliverables related to Service, which will center around teaching and contributing to ongoing research.

The successful candidate will join Vancouver Acute as a Temporary Tenens staff level for 1 year and will be expected to practice according to Hospital By-Laws.

  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)- Mandatory
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC)- Mandatory
  • Surgical Skills- Mandatory
