Limited full-time: 8-Month Continuing Appointment
Work period is approximately September to April each year
Off work period is May to August each year

• High School graduation. Post secondary school education in a related field preferred combined with some work experience in a clinical setting, or a combination of related education and experience.
• Exceptional organizational skills and time management
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the Infection Prevention and Control practices for clinical spaces/PIDAC guidelines.
• IT knowledge and familiarity with electronic medical records. Ability to troubleshoot basic IT issues.
• Teamwork, effective communication, and a positive, helpful attitude are required for this role.
• Demonstrate an approach that supports diversity and inclusion with equal access to health care services when interacting with patients, visitors and co-workers
• Demonstrated focus on patient-centred care with respect of patient privacy and confidentiality
• Familiarity with core elements for medical clinic office best practices will be an asset.
