The UHN Telemonitor Service is a dynamic and rapidly expanding program in the healthcare technology sector and is an initiative created to respond to unit staffing requirements at UHN, based on patient acuity and replacement needs. The program provides 24/7 remote monitoring of patients with the goal to improve safety outcomes and support nurses and other health care professionals in maintaining UHN’s standard of care. POSITION SUMMARY

Working collaboratively with the Operations Manager, the Telemonitor Program Supervisor will coordinate and oversee all functions of the Telemonitor Program hub. The Supervisor will lead a team of unregulated healthcare providers by managing patient flow of the program, supporting efficient workflows and identifying opportunities for improvement with a solution focused lens.

This role requires an individual who is organized and professional, pays close attention to detail and can remain calm when multiple priorities are presented. As the primary contact for the Telemonitor Program hub, they will liaise with both UHN units and external client hospital sites.

The Telemonitor Supervisor will report to the Operations Manager and provides 24 hour a day, 7 day a week coverage. This role requires 12 hour shifts consisting of a combination of days, nights and weekends.
