SHIPPING AND RECEIVING CLERK

We are currently looking for a shipping and receiving clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing packages for shipment, verifying that goods received are in good condition and in accordance with orders, completing forms and invoices, and maintaining an inventory of goods.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 7h30 to 16h00

Salary: Starting salary 24$/hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the warehouse.
  • Work in conjunction with Lacolle plant to coordinate the shipping and receiving of products.
  • Prepare documents required for shipping and/or receiving merchandise.
  • Perform data entry related to the receipt of goods.
  • Respond to carrier requests for receiving and/or shipping merchandise.
  • Communicate with customers to verify orders.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders.
  • Assist and perform labeling and verification of orders with carriers prior to deliveries.
  • Maintain a list of storage locations for materials and/or completed contracts.
  • Maintain inventory records.
  • Prepare samples and workstation models.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French required.
  • Ability to lift weights between 40 and 50 lbs.
  • Ability to identify and manage priorities.
  • Customer service and teamwork orientation.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of the MS Office environment.
  • Lift driver experience required.
  • Experience as a "sample and jig" assembler.
