CLASS 1 DRIVER

We are looking for a reliable and detailed oriented Flatbed and Van dry driver to perform local and occasional regional deliveries. The Candidate would require to have excellent customer service skills and must ensure that our orders are delivered on time. You will also assist in the loading and unloading process. Experience and a clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining the vehicle clean and undamaged.
• Perform inspections of the vehicle prior to and following each trip.
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
• Transport pallet goods and packages from a place of origin to assigned destination.
• Ensure contents are properly secured inside of the vehicle to prevent breakage or damage.
• Safely and efficiently handle and unload goods from a truck at selected destinations.
• Obtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveries with clients.
• Assist warehouse staff and customers with loading and unloading processes.
• Have a strong base knowledge regarding our products.
• Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar position required (1 to 3 years)
• Must be bilingual (English and French) and 18 years or older.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must have a valid Class 1 Driver’s license and a clean driving record.
