Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Mail Clerk I to support document filing and digitization activities in an onsite office environment in London, ON . The ideal candidate is comfortable handling confidential documents, operating office equipment, and working independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare paper documents for scanning and electronic storage.
  • Operate photocopiers and scanners to digitize physical documents.
  • Review scanned documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality.
  • Organize, file, and securely maintain physical records in designated locations.
  • Provide daily and weekly progress updates via email and/or phone.
  • Follow workplace health and safety guidelines, including wearing a face mask when required in open office areas.
  • Adhere to privacy, confidentiality, and workplace conduct policies.
  • Administrative support and document management initiatives as business needs evolve.
  • Identify and communicate any issues, risks, or process concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency while meeting project deadlines.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of professional work experience .
  • Comfortable operating office equipment, including photocopiers and scanners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel .
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with document filing, records management, mailroom operations, or document digitization is considered an asset.
