Description
We’re seeking a passionate, artistic, and Florist to join our growing team. At Fleuriste Tulipano you’ll design expressive, trend-forward floral arrangements for all occasions, provide warm, attentive service to our clientele and care for our plants while maintaining a vibrant, welcoming shop atmosphere. If you have a strong foundation in floral design, a flair for customer service, and hands-on experience in a boutique flower shop, we want to hear from you.
- Greet and assist walk-in clients by providing friendly and professional advice on arrangement selection, plant and floral care
- Create high-quality floral arrangements for various events including weddings, funerals and walk-ins
- Prepare orders received via website, social media, and other platforms
- Maintain proper flower care and plant heath
- Confidently and accurately manage sales transactions via POS systems (cash/credit/debit)
- Participate in merchandising products in an innovative fashion to elevate consumer experience
- Assist in receiving inventory – cleaning flowers, stocking etc
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and shop
Requested skills
- Experience in floral design
- Knowledgeable of plant and cut flower care techniques
- Has worked in a flower shop boutique (or is currently taking a floral certification program)
- Must have a creative spirit and enthusiasm to learn new concepts
- Possesses time management skills and attention to detail
- Capable of working both autonomously and collaborate within a team
- Flexible during high seasonal times such as Valentine’s Day, Mothers Day, events etc
- French is a must, and speaking English is a great asset along with knowledge of other language
