SCHOOL: Gravenhurst High School

POSITION: 0.333 Long Term Occasional Teacher

(1 section during semester 2)

During the 2025-2026 school year, the above part-time long term occasional position will commence Friday, January 30, 2026 and terminate on Friday, June 26, 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the following:

Semester 2:

Mohawk Language (LNMAO)

Qualifications: Intermediate or Senior division is required, as well as fluency in or experience teaching the Mohawk language. Applicants who are proficient in Mohawk but do not possess an OCT certificate will also be considered. If no qualified OCT candidates are available, the Board can apply to the Ministry for a Letter of Permission.

Salary: Salary placement will be determined by the Board in accordance with the current Collective Agreement between the Board and Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation District 15 (OSSTF) and calculated based on the candidate’s verified teaching experience and category rating. The current salary grid is included for information purposes .
