The Operations Supervisor is responsible for organizing, and optimizing manufacturing and warehouse operations. They oversee all activities related to production, bottling, packaging, warehoue, logistics, and receiving/shipping, ensuring quality, food safety, efficiency, and adherence to schedules.

Under their responsibility, the Operations Supervisor oversees the Kitchen, Pumping, and Barrel Management Team Leader, the Bottling Team Leader, the Packaging Team Leaser, the Receiving/Shipping Team Leader, and the Logistics Clerk.

Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide leadership and guidance on the floor.
  • Act as a liaison to communicate between the office to the floor.
  • Ensuring overall operational performance in line with production, quality, and profitability objectives.
  • Leading, engaging, and developing the supervisors and the logistics coordinator.
  • Implementing continuous improvement processes.
  • Collaborating with the quality, maintenance, purchasing, and HR departments to ensure operational synergy.
  • Ensuring compliance with HACCP, SQF, and other regulatory standards.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and producing management reports.
  • Participating in strategic planning and the implementation of investment or automation projects.
  • Coordinating operations to achieve expected productivity and quality levels.
  • Overseeing maintenance and sanitation activities.
  • This position is hands-on with 100 % time spent on the floor.

Requested skills

Manufacturing Management Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing management, whether in production, logistics, shipping, or continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on experience in the agri-food sector, ideally within an SME.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, SQF, etc.).
  • Comfortable on the production floor, proactive 100 % floor.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with production management tools (ERP, KPIs).
  • Ability to manage multi-department operations: production, packaging, logistics, receiving/shipping.
  • Understanding of traceability, inventory management, and production planning challenges.
  • Mechanical aptitude.

Human and Managerial Skills

  • Inspiring leadership: ability to supervise, motivate, and develop team leaders.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with other departments (quality, maintenance, HR, purchasing).
  • Strategic mindset and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
