pbuJob Description/u/b/pp/ppbThis Co-Op position is a minimum of 12 months and will run from May 2024 through April 2025/b/ppbr /Summary:br /The main focus of this position is to provide support for the Engineering department.br /Essential Functions:br /Researches, develops and implements processes and procedures necessary to establish a Reliability Centered Maintenancebr /(RCM) culture to improve equipment performance and reliability. Constantly support on the new tools and methods to makebr /the maintenance group a more reliability focused, proactive work groupbr /•br /• Reports on KPIs that represent the performance of the maintenance systems and assetsbr /Supports on work execution management elements, including but not limited to 1) MRO Spares 2) PM optimization 3) Bill ofbr /Materials and 4) CMMS Readinessbr /•br /Implements maintenance optimization reviews of each assets criticality, functional importance and duty cycle and establishesbr /best-practice maintenance activities required to detect early signs of functional failures.br /•br /• Develops the use of asset criticality matrix and spare parts criticality analysis ranking tools.br /• Development and maintenance of on-line database of all projects.br /• Provide clerical support for project specifications.br /• Supports on Lean 5S project initiatives.br /REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSbr /Education:br /High school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) Certificate is requiredbr /Working towards University degree or College diploma in an Engineering or trades program of studybr /Mechanical program is preferred.br /12 month commitment period is an essentialbr /Experience:br /Requires no previous Reliability Engineering experience.br /Any working experience in Engineering, Maintenance or Facilities department in a Manufacturing company would be preferred.br /Equivalency:br /Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.br /Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:br /Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal, organizational,br /communication and presentation skills. Must be able to work well with limited supervision. Must be able to maintain high degree ofbr /confidentiality for work assigned. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Proficiency with thebr /English language.br /Standards and Expectations:br /Follow all Environmental Health Safety Policies and Procedures. Work harmoniously with fellow team members, modelling positive teambr /principles and partnering to meet project and departmental objectives. Carry out all duties within strict compliance to Patheon quality systemsbr /SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Maintain workspace in a clean and orderly fashion. Actively engage in and adhere tobr /departmental systems in order to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow (visual management, scheduling systems, etc.). Be client andbr /patient conscious at all times. Understand Key Performance Indicators and strive to improve the performance of the team by identifying areasbr /for system improvements and engage in problem solving.
