Description
Assignment:
- Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position
- Courseload to include; Science 20, Chemistry 20, and 7 days of a cake decorating class led by a Chef
- There is a practicum student within the classroom until the end of April, 2026
- Duties to commence April2, 2026 and will continue until May 17, 2026 with the possibility of extension
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching High School courses would be considered an asset
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage a classroom
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member
- Assessment literate
- Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies and to differentiate in order to meet a wide range of individual needs
- Experience with the Collaborative Response Model would be considered an asset.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
