Description
Assignment:
- Full-time 1.0 Temporary Replacement Teaching position
- Instructing as a Grade 5 teacher
- Duties to commence February 17, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching in Division 2 (Grades 4-6)would be considered an asset
- Ability to work in a team environment with support staff, and service providers
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
- Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success
- Strong technology and 21st-century learning skills
- Assessment literate
- Ability to work in a collaborative teaching and learning environment
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work in a collaborative team-orientated learning environment and be a positive team member
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of special and individual needs
- Effective classroom management that facilitates safe, caring, and inclusive spaces for all students
